If makeup makes your pores clog, does lip gloss do anytihng to your lips?

It has nothing to do with pores but it does make your lips age faster because the lip gloss leads them more susceptible to the UV rays in the sun. It also may cause more of a risk to certain types of skin cancer. If makeup makes your pores clog, does lip gloss do anytihng to your lips?
Makeup used on the face is usually made of pressed powders, or powdered ingredients mixed with some kind of liquid or gel. Makeup and dirt mixes with the oil on your face and can often clog pores. But, because lip glosses are often water or oil based, they are usually absorbed by your lips. Lips are a totally different kind of skin than what's on your face. Sometimes the delicate skin around the lips can be clogged by excessive lip gloss or lipstick, but for the most part lip gloss will just soak in. Chap stick on the other hand, does not soak in because it's wax based, and wax is not processed by the body.If makeup makes your pores clog, does lip gloss do anytihng to your lips?
no. and makeup only clogs your pores if you wear too much and don't take care of your skin. I wish people would realize this. as long as you have a good face cleaning routine (cleanser, toner and moisturizer) that you do every morning AND night, and as long as you don't wear 5 pounds of makeup on you're face, it won't clog you're pores.
No because you don't have pores in your lips. But if you don't put lip chap on you can get a sunburn on your lips, even when its cloudy.
your lips normally don't react the same way that your skin does. No, lipgloss doe not clog the pores on the lips :] but if you have very sensitive skin around the mouth, some lipglosses can cause cold sores
i dont think so..cuz the pores on ur lips are wayyy smaller than the ones on ur face
Yea i nourishes it (=
