Ok ... first off ... take a look at that picture again. I don't see any of those things. I see a pretty girl with low self-esteem and hope that the little tricks i give you can help boost your confidence so your walking around the school with your head high always.





Alright, i am going to be honest. I just put links to pictures of people who actually had small eyes, a big nose and tiny lips and trust me ... your not one of them!!! Then, i deleted them cuz i realized that was mean.





Ok, welcome to the world of makeup! From the looks of your pic, your already a pro. but here is something you probably have never heard about before. It is called ';contouring'; it is a way to correctively enhance things and correct ';flaws';. For contouring, your going to need a powder that is one shade lighter than your skin tone and a bronzer or power that is one shade darker. For me, i use the cheap covergirl powder because its light enough to wear its not obvious what your doing and its also buildable.





For your nose, your going to apply all your makeup like usual and at the very end. Brush some of the darker powder on a small, blush-sized brush and glide it down the side of your nose on each side. This will make the nose look narrower. you can also put a little on the tip.





For thin lips, stay away from color. Nude is the way to go! I LOVE the nude plumper lip gloss from revlon. Go out and pick some up, it really does plump, but only for like a second. Avoid the lipliner tricks websites give you. I have think lips, they don't work. Nude/light pink and pink gloss make the best effect.





For eyes, use light colors and use mascara on the top and bottom lashes. Before you do that, take an angled eyeliner brush and get some dark brown powder on it. Take it to the outer corner of your eye and press directly into the lash line. Only do this in the outer corner. Then take a white shimmery shadow and using your finger tip dab a dot on the inner corner of yoru eye. it will help open them up!Small Eyes, Small Lips, Big nose. Makeup ideas?
i agree, you dont even have a big nose or small eyes or thin lips. lol rock it natural, no makeup! when ur older and ur sleeping over ur boyfriends house and u guys wake up in the morning and he sees the real natural u, it shouldnt be any different then who he was hangin out with the night before..
use light eyeshadow and dark eyeliner to make your eyes bigger and for your nose use blush to make two sides of your nose darker it makes it look smaller and for your lips use lip liner it makes them look bigger
try a lip plumper. their easy to find


dont wear a lot of eyeliner. it will make your eyes smaller


and maybe some coverup would help the nose
try to bring your eyes out ,that way the attention will be on your eyes then on your nose

I have large (not protruding) eyes, a larger nose and full lips. I feel like all of my facial features are trying to overtake each other. How do I ut focus on just one part? I find my biggest challenge is my nose. Can I make it seem smaller?

i would pick something to focus on, your eyes would probably be best.


I dont know what color your eyes are but I would try to elongate them.





Put a gold color on the inner half of your eyelid and crease, and a golden brown on the outer half of your eyelid and crease. Then take a cream colored shadow and put on where your brow bone is.





Key tool: ';benefit high brow'; its like 20 bucks, but its awesome!


rub that on the inside corner of your eye, and then draw a line right underneath your eyebrow... then just blend it with your finger.





After that just put eyeliner on the top and bottom of your eye, and add some mascara.





Add just a little bit of gloss to your lips.





To make your nose seem smaller there are two things you can do. Buy a powder that is just one shade darker than your current powder or skin tone. Use a small brush and rub just a little bit on the sides of your nose. And if you can afford it get bobbi browns shimmer brick and dust a little on your cheeks. It will give you a natural glow emphasizing your cheeks, and take away from your nose.

after you do your eye makeup apply a tiny bit of your highlighter in the inner corner of your eyes..brightens your eye.





and with the nose ...put a bit of bronzer on the tip of your nose!


then put a bit of highlighter on the bone of your nose so ppl focus on the middle of ur nose and not how long it is =]

You should count yourself lucky,Id luv big lips and so would a lot of people,it would saves us money on collagen,lip plumping etc.


If your lips are big, apply the lipliner INSIDE your lip line as this makes them look smaller.


For shape again using a lip liner will give them shape and definition.


A clear lip gloss or a colour one always makes lips look great,maybe a lipgloss with a shimmer effet would give them an extra boost.





If your lips are dry and thats why you want them to look better, then exfoliate them with an old toothbrush,the bristles will remove the dry skin. Even if your lips aren't dry, this would still be a good idea as it will exfoliate them and get the circulation going and give them more colour.Makeup for fat unshapely lips?
you want to use a lip liner, go with your natural lip line, I'm going to guess that when you say your lips have no shape, you mean there's no dip in the top lips center? if so you can create one with the lip liner, your lip liner should always be one shade darker then your lipstick, you should use a lipstick that is on the darker side, about 2 or 3 shades darker then your natural color, unless you are African American in which case you can use fun bright Colors or beautiful dark reds. add a bit of gloss for some shine!

You can, but it's pretty ghetto.
be careful when using stuff that u r not really sure about...
its probably not the best idea, as long as it says non toxic though you should be safe. Use cheap lipstick and lipgloss. as for application, id think a white base layer would probably be best. bright colors for cheeks eyes and lips. try and find expressions through google image searches. marionette style may be the easiest.

i've ordered from them. for the price its actually pretty good quality, some things are better than others. so I would research that or look it up before you order from them. check youtube.com for good reviews of the products.

Okay, I have ordered from elf twice, and haven't had any problems, I canceled one order, but only because I ordered something on accident. I don't really like the lip products, but the others are fine! Yes, it does take a few weeks to get the items ';Due to high demand';, but I have found that they are fine.





P.S. I am not someone they pay to do these things.
I've used the product and so have several of my family members. The lip treatments are great and last 12 hour or more and the facial toner, hydro spf, the color stick, and the powder shimmer are all terrific products too. Give them a try their products are worth the money. Good luck:))
i would say it is ok, but i really love their lip gloss, and bronzer. they are both very natural, which is what you should go for. They also make a good waterproof mascara. And the best of all: It is probably the most inexpensive makeup ive bought, and it is still a good product. Buy it and try it.

I have a couple product from them. Most of it seemed to work fine for me. I love the lipgloss and mascara. They last most of the day for me. I've used the color stick too, it had a kind of weird smell to it, but it worked pretty good.

i wear victorias secret beauty rush lip gloss in butterscotcha(it's a pale pink color with gold flecks in it. it smells wonderful) it's about $7, milani glossy tubes in smoothie(its a sheer coral color with gold flecks in it) its about $4, and mac lip gloss in purr(its a nude color, greta for smokey eyes) its $14.





i don't normally wear lipstick, but i've heard really good things about revlon. the only kind i wear is mac viva glam V, it's $14 and a beautiful color. mac makes great lipstick, it's really pigmented, it stays on through the day, and it has a great texture. you can find it at makeup counters.

i wear bees wax it makes my lips really soft and in the summer if im outside i wear the pomegranate lip balm because when you wear lip gloss your lips can get scaly for being out in the sun

Be sure to make it a little thicker on your bottom lip in the center, and follow the out line of your lip, not inner. Yes-- I would either do the eye makeup with a much more natural lip color, or red lipstain with classic black eyeliner and very natural looking eye shadow.
usually it is best to focus on one feature. So, either your eyes or lips. Blush will be fine as long as you don't cake on too much.
I think you should go for nude lips.They look great with smokey eyes.

I really like it. I have bought their lipstick/lipgloss for the last 2 years. I love that it's only $1. You can experiment a lot with color and if it doesnt' work for you - I toss it, or let my daughter use it when she's playing dress up. PLUS I like that it has a vanilla scent to it. It's not goopy or thick.

I haven't used their makeup because I was kinda suspicious because of the price. I don't recommend it though because esp. if you are young, your face might not be used to harsh makeup and you could start breaking out. If you want a good makeup brand I would start with Maybelline.. It's cheap, (but not cheap cheap like e.l.f.) but has great quality. I use it and I am in 7th grade. Another brand would be covergirl. This explains it all :::: easy, breezy, covergirl!

To make eyes look bigger use an eyeliner only on the outside corner of the eyes and use a light shadow over the entire lid. Use a slightly darker shade on the bone just above the outside corner of the eye and blend. Then use teh lightest shade of matching color just under the brow bone. Blend all well.





For plumper lips use a neutral shade of lip liner and blend in well. Then, use a natural shade of lipstick. try a nice nude shade or a a light peach. I promise they will look bigger. I do this myself.

For the eyes you should use Lash Plumper, a great mascara from Sephora. Also outline the eyes on the top, leaving a small line near the corner of your eye. hey, I always buy my makeup from E.L.F, it's really great. The lip glosses glide on really smoothly and the foundation smells devine...I also really like the compact powders and bronzer. Most people tend to think that Elf must be really bad quality because it's so cheap, yet suprisingly I have found it to work and look better than some of the other brands I buy like Rimmel and Maybelline! It really is value for money and the products last for a long time, have a great smell and really look great and add a professional look. The brushes are great and look really professional to maintain a smooth application and the hairs don't feel sharp or prickely. Also it's not tested on animals so you can feel and look great! Really, you must go for it!

The brushes are harsh and constructed badly. The eyeshadows are not pigmented. The mascara is a mess. The lip glosses are horrible. It's like the gloss is melting around your lips and onto your skin. It's also very gunky and messy. Their foundation doesnt work and to get full coverage, you would have to use the whole tube.

I'd buy one for the eyes, since you only really need one blush and lip color, and there's no need to buy an entire palette of them. Which is how I take it you mean 'palette', as in 4-6 colors of a makeup in one container. If I'm wrong, pick the type of palette to accentuate your favorite feature. If lips, lip palette, if eyes, eye palette, etc. And really, brown eyes can still be made to look larger and better with an eye palette - maybe not with the pop of color another eye color might afford, but pretty nevertheless. I would go with the eye palette. Brown eyes can be ';popped'; with purple colors. So if you can find a palette with purples in it then you should get it =]

i have no idea where you would buy that. but, i would recommend lip smackers. i know you don't want the glossy look, but if you get the balm, its not too glossy. and if you get the melon kiss, it smells just like a watermelon jolly rancher. and it adds just a tiny bit of color too.
ok i use a lipstick stain but my mom brought it for me so idk where she got it sorry but maybe that will help u its not glossy and there are different shades so u can pick a light Color or a dark red! hope that helps k

Neutrogena has some great lip tints. They smell really good and feel super smooth. You can find it at Target or any drugstore.
Bobbi Brown Creamy lip color is nice it has shea butter and stays on well or try a lip stain lip double wear lip color in Estee Lauder.

wear lip liner and lip plumper for your lips. for your eyes, wear eyeliner outside your eye. dont put it inside, it makes your eyes appear smaller. depending on your eye color buy this almay eye intensifier stuff. it works really good and it makes your eyes pop.

well I use a white or light colored eye shadow in the corners of my eyes to make them look bigger, wider, and whiter (corners closest to the nose) for the lips use a lip liner and they have something called bee venom you can use on your lips that will plump them up cost about 20-25 dollars but it stings for a little while try the one from Avon it may be cheaper and it has the same effect

Well you want to use eyeliner under the bottom lid, that makes your eyes look bigger. Wear lip liner shade darker than your lipstick.. Works every time.. You Go Girl...
to bring out your eyes use revlon eye liner and mascara and to enlarge your lips us lipe liner....
Go to beeroyalproducts.com. Get the LipTox in either regular (lip plumper) or in the sheer (colored lip plumper with real diamond dust on your lips sooo cool). Also use their HD Mascara it will really set off your eyes. Also their Liquid Mineral foundation would be perfect, just make sure you wax first and apply primer to smooth out your skin. Before you wax use their Papaya Cleanser. This will make your whiskers very soft and help them to come out easier for less irritation. Also HeatherM is right with the other stuff. well i think you should use black mascara to show off your eyes, and then pick a color you like and say it was blue. use a light blue then above it use a darker shade of blue. as for lips use dark lip pencils of the same color as your lipstick.
to make your lips look bigger, draw your liner along the outside of your lip line, but never lose contact with that line or things will look exceptionally artificial. use a shimmery lip color which makes lips look bigger or dab a little gold eyeshadow in the center of your lips and blend outward





to enlarge eyes, curl your eyes and apply lots of thickening mascara.
CC is exactly right. The eyeliner can really draw attention to your eyes and kind of ';open'; them up; so to speak. I have noticed (I am a blonde/redhead) that with my light hair color; the darker the color mascara, the larger my eyes look. So keep that in mind.





An eye lash curler (I use Maybelline) to curl your lashes BEFORE using mascara can also gives your eyes that 'wider' look. I use the kind of mascara that applies a 'white' color first to ';set'; your lashes, then I apply the black over it. Let me tell ya...my lashes are so long and beautiful using that method...I actually get compliments.





Also, CC's answer on enlarging the look of the lips, is also good advice. Just make sure that the 'lip liner' isn't the only thing you see, when someone looks at your lips. It should closely match the color of the lipstick you wear...just a liner that is a shade darker than the lip color.

If you would like to create the illusion of larger lips, you can use lipliner to outline your lips slightly outside of your real lipline. Then just fill in your lips with lipstick. Good Luck! When going heavy on the eyes, go lighter on the lips (and vice versa). You don't want to go overboard and look like Tammy Faye Baker or a hooker or something. Plus, when you play up only one of those two assets, you'll bring out your beauty more rather than looking like a circus clown.
It's better to wear a nude lipgloss in a colour such as ';coral';. You either make one or the other bold for example if you're wearing a bright red lipstick only wear mascara and vise versa.

They're makeup products are mehh. The reason why they're so cheap is because they're made of cheap quality materials. The tubes and such come in any other kind of container. For example, the eye-liners are just as long in length as a wet n' wild one, which are pretty long. Only the mineral line is good quality. But amongst the $1-purchases, I'd recommend the brushes. I got every single one of them and they are great. Especially for starters. Good luck, and best wishes!

I've bought it from KMart and Target, never ordered from them online cause the shipping charges are crazy. From other people I've heard that it takes about a week to arrive if you order, but I've also heard that some products break in the pan before you get them.





They work all right, if you're on a serious budget. Other than that, I think there are other cheap drugstore brands that work loads better.

You are not alone. Lots of people especially with sensitive skin have experienced the same. I used BE for the past 2 yrs and finally threw it out when I began breaking out in acne terribly. I never broke out before, just itchiness and red patches occasionally. Found out it had lots of harmful ingredients that can cause cancer just like in regular cosmetics--no difference. My best advice to you is stop using it before you break out in rashes or worse. Research other organic makeup out there. The big names are the worst. well i was actually going to say one of those lip plumping glosses but since u don't want that either then there's not much to do. I read in a magazine once that when u brush ur teeth u can brush ur lips a little too and that's supposed to get the blood flowing in ur lips therefore they appear fuller (however this only lasts a few minutes or so)

I dont think you should were lipstick its too heavy of a color compared to lip gloss which is like a little lipstick mixed with a gloss. Instead, try a palette of colors that will highlight your own facial features. Choose a matte eyeshadow color that will bring out the color of your eyes. A casual party invitation implies that no great time and trouble were put into your outfit and makeup.





Of course, any true lady knows that is never the case! The key is being impeccably dressed and groomed without being flashy. Experiment a little bit, try out some new colors that are a little more natural looking.

In your situation I would leave the lips glossy and natural, and just put the lightest hints of pinky blush on, if any at all. The reason is that if you're going to be using gold eyeshadow that's pretty dramatic and eyecatching so I'd leave everything else on my face toned down so that everyone would notice my eyeshadow. Darn it someone already said what I just said, ok here's another tip, you can try going the J. Lo route, [if your skin is in similar condition] by wearing a natural bronzer for the trademark J. Lo glow.
Try translucide powder...I know its not blush but I sue it some times when I go to a party...and for lips try some thats clear but also has a tint color....

Use a brightener for your eyes.


Physicians Formula makes a great one. It's a little thing with different color light shimmers and such eye shadow, depending on your skin tone.





Don't go overboard though. Just use something like that, or a light golden eye shadow on the part of your eye by your tear duct, and on the bone just below the end of your eyebrow.
use eyeliner and highlighting stick or powder under your eyebrow, on the inner corner and near your temples. use blush on your cheeks and try a plumping lip gloss.

They aren't made for beginners, they are made for everyone. I love most of their cosmetics and I own or have owned everyhting (I mean everything) they have made makeup related (besides their mineral wear and new creamy eyeshadow duos). Everything is $1 so try what you want, there's nothing to loose!





Things to warn you about from my experience:





- Their liquid eyeliner is horrible. It dried in the bottle within acouple weeks and it dried and clumped on my lashline. Good liquid eyeliners should not do that.





- Their lipglosses are pretty awesome in my book, they are made to be very natrual looking. I expected the colors of the glosses to have more ';umph!' to them. I like the plumping lipglaze and the Moisture care lip color the best!!!





- Their black/brown mascara is good for $1 but it will feel kind of heavy and very creamy when you apply it than other brands.





- Their sky blue and white eyeliners are very hard to apply. The cap on the white eyeliner also falls off easily. I think they use a different formula for them since they are lighter than the others. The others are great!





Other than that I have heard horrible reviews on their makeup remover pads...from a ton of people.

my package just came in today, and tried everything on. so here are the things i liked and didnt like





-The lip glosses i love. It stays on long and there are very pretty colors. I also love the lip plumper in champagne





- The eyes shadows are alright. I defentally have had better eyeshadow, but there are some pretty colors. Im going to have to experiment more with those.





- I bought the mineral powder, and i dont like that as much as the stuff im using now, its pretty cheap, and the powder brush sucks. Use one of your own, or go buy one cuz this one is not good.





- I have dark under eye circles, and i need a good concealer, and i did not like theres. It did come off really fast.





-Do not get the fake eyelashes, they suck!!!





- eyelash curler is good. exsepcially for only $1





Overall, i would say that its good makeup, defentally cheap makeup like wet and wild that they sell in drugstores, but i would suggest you try some stuff out, cuz you might like it, and its only a buck each except for the mineral powder, so you really cant lose much. I would just keep it simple. I would find a color similar to your dress and blend it with a white color. keep it blended on your lid so that ity matches your dress. A little eye liner and mascara to make your eyes pop and you'll be good.





While you dont want to forget that your eyes are blue...dont forget that your dress is a color too! your dress is the focal point so match your dress first. Blue eyeshadows will not go with your dress.. so be careful. :)

firstly, concealer will without a doubt dry out your lips.

Get the Pur Minerals 4-in-1 Pressed Powder foundation, it's natural and yet has full coverage and will not come off in the summer heat/humidity. It sounds like you would be suitable for the tan shade because of your olive complexion.


Also, for a lip gloss I would suggest Pur Minerals lip gloss in Rose Zircon, a pretty bright yet natural rose shade for spring and summer.
For lip glosses, check out Maybelline. They have some very cool and exciting colors out right now.

Personally my favourite nude lippy is MAC's myth and I put love nector luster glass over it (don't put super nude over super nude or you will look like a dead fish...)





If you don't want to spend all that money just go to a drugstore and get a nude lipstick. Swatch it on the back of your hand and get it as close as you can to your skin tone.





You can also you concealer, but it can be VERY drying to your lips. So make sure it's a creamy concealer (it also needs to be a solid concealer) Revlon, covergirl maybelline as stick forms for like 3$. I've tried it before but it did dry my lips.

1) Use a lipstick/concealer


2) use a pinky gloss so you don't look like a dead fish. :D

Lots of brands have a nude color, it just depends on your skin tone. MAC has some good nude colors like Myth, Blankety, Freckletone, or Hug Me. Then if you want a lip gloss to put over it you can try either a clear gloss and to get the pinkish nude lip just get a pink lip gloss to go over it. Good luck!
L'Oreal has a whole line of nude lipsticks. Drugstores like CVS, etc. have great beauty buys but the negative is you can't try out the colors. They have a good return policy, however. It is hit or miss. If you want to try out the colors, go to Sephora.

You could use eyeliner. Since your a guy... if your not emo you probably don't want it to be noticable. So just use like brown or black eyeliner (depending on your lash color) on the outer part of your upper and lower lash lines. Bigger eyes should make your nose appear smaller. you want to go REALLY natural, since you probably don't want it to be noticable. The first wash should be a good one, gentle baby shampoo is easy on the brushes. Just swirl the brush ends around in a sink with warm soapy water. Do your best to squeeze out the excess liquid prior to laying it flat to dry. Do not sit your brushes upright, this will cause the water to run down into the ferule and can diminish the adhesive or cause the metal to rust (usually in lower quality brushes.) Allow to air dry overnight or until dry, gently reshape.





After this initial cleaning, I am not a big fan of ';washing'; my brushes. I use makeup remover...pour a generous amount onto the corner of an old towel, wet but not dripping. Rub your used brushes in the liquid and this onto a dry/clean part of the towel. you should wash makeup brushes no matter where you buy them from. chemicals that are shipped in the same trucks can leak onto the products without your knowledge. this goes the same for clothing too - always wash before you wear. people really do get sick from stuff like that (and not just on tv :) )!

Always. You never know where it has been and what chemicals might still be lurking in it. Gently wash it with soap and leave it to air dry on an absorbent paper towel (I prefer Viva or Bounty paper towel).

I recently read a news article that claimed that many makeup ingredients could be somewhat unsafe, cause cancer, etc. I doubt the problem is with moderate use, but if you were to have a whole bunch of makeup products on your face every day for over 50 years, then perhaps certain sensitive or genetically predisposed indviduals could have problems. My grandma always used to tell me not to put makeup on when I was young. She told me she felt it wasn't safe, but I wore layers of it for many years anyway. Now that I'm older, I have really tried to live a healthier lifestyle. Have you heard anything about the safety of makeup ingredients? i agree do some research and stay always from Paraben's %26amp; petroleum. Soy and beeswax are ok.
I use vaseline as lip balm. it works great(you could use bag balm too, I don't though cuz I'm allergic)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the fountain of youth. Also Grape Seed Oil. About a year ago, I switched from store bought skin care to these oils and my skin has never looked better. Only Creme de La Mer comes close. But if you don't have $200 for a jar, then I highly recommend these oils. Just a few drops will do. And your skin will drink it right in so no need to worry about an oily greasy face. My lines have diminished, sun damage is healed and are no more dry patches. I even get asked what it is I use on my face! Try it for a week and see. Grape Seed oil is wonderful for chapped lips too.

I honestly don't think they would be selling ELF at Nordstroms- it would degrade Nordstrom brand image- it's like saying they are going to start selling Wet n' Wild make up there- which is actually more expensive than ELF. They might start to sell at Nordstrom. The products are decent for $1 and I don't think they skimped on quality of the product, just on the packaging and advertising. That is how they can afford to make it so cheap. Also I bet they support a lot of sweatshops out there.

I have tried it %26amp; only like their lipglosses. The ones w/out the brushes, because those fall off. Didn't like there concealer, foundation, brushes or blush. Glosses are actually very pretty. well if u use eye liner its suppost to make ur eyes look bigger and mascara makes ur eye lashes stand out more. lipstick makes your lips prettier by making it a better color that goes with your clothes and i guess by face u mean foundation well it works by covering any blemishes or anything like circles under ur eyes and it makes ur whole face look like 1 color and not like 50 ;) but other than that yeah i like the way makke up works on me.
