On emerald green dress what makeup will look great . i was thinking to go with red lip stick.?

hi nadia, emerald green is a very bright color.....you might end up looking like a christmas tree if you opt for a bright red...however subtle shades of red like coral...deep peach or pastel red will look great...you can also go for bright eyes........try purple,dark green or navy blue eyeshadow...otherwise go for a smoky look and and a loud mouth with a matt red or coral..see how anne hathway does her makeup and always looks great???? or you can also check out winona ryders make up style...she does great lips!!!! ps- also check out rihannaOn emerald green dress what makeup will look great . i was thinking to go with red lip stick.?
hmm maybe you shouldnt do like ketchup colored red but maybe a peach or maybe yo could do a very light red...i also thin gold eyes would look gorggggg with emrald:) hope this helps girl!

I think it depends on the look that you want to go for. I would personally recommend staying away from a red lipstick and opting for a nude. Emerald green is a very bold and bright colour so it might look a tad over the top if you go with a bold red lip. If red is still your thing try finding a sheer red or more of a gloss. This way you still get a tint of red without the full matte coverage.
Red would look good, but so would a shimmery pink. Either way you go, you should put this lip gloss called Neauties over and under it. It will make the lipstick shiny, and it will make it stay on longer. I wore it for 8 to 9 hours straight and didn't fade or get gross once!! It actually brightened up the lipstick some!! It makes your lips feel great while it's on and when you take it off your lips will be soft and healed of any sores or chapped lips or anything not perfect about your lips!!! I like the Cherry because it makes your lipstick taste better, but you may want to go with the Original because you may be eating and drinking and stuff like that. (This a link to the Original.) Neauties will go with any lipstick color because it's just clear. And, just a note... the more you put on, the shinyer it gets, so if you don't want your lipstick shiny don't use lots of it... if you want it to look like lip gloss, then you should put TONS of it on. But I definitely think BRIGHT red or a bright but light shimmery pink color (because it's natural looking but subtle with the glitter shine)!!

Red lipstick is great. But if the lips are red you need to minimize your eye makeup (loads of mascara will go great with red lipstick). Its either lips or eyes. If eyes, smoky eyes will look good with a tint of gloss on your lips.
