Graduation is in a week.
What eye and lip makeup would go with a spaghetti strap dress that is navy blue and covered with sheer black fabric and some silver glitter at the hem of the skirt?
I was thinking reddish-pink lips and silver eyes. My friend said glittery eyes look good, but what do you guys think? i'm not sure Recommendations? Good makeup brands? Anything is helpful, so just answer please! ThanksEye and lip makeup?
Because it is graduation and not prom, you want to keep it natural but fabulous. I advice mysterious eyes and a natural everything else. I suggest you go for the eyes that are heavier and fuller at the outer corners, achieve that with a black, in the inner corners do a Hillary duff with a highlighting and natural but gorgeous silver, the middle achieve that with a soft navy blue. Don't go over your eye crease if you can except the black gets there. Do a very soft pink with the blush and a lip gloss shade that only makes your lips look either pinker or coral whichever you choose.Eye and lip makeup?
i guess you could do a thin line of black eyeliner and then glitter eye shadow over it... redish pink lips sound nice
the third one from the left is nice:

Hope this helps!!!
I wouldn't base it on your dress, base the makeup on your skin tone and eye color. Nude lipstick or shiny lipgloss is best. A glittery eyeshadow is fun. But you don't want to have TOO much going on. Pick one feature and play it up, don't play up all your features (eyes and lips)just pick one.
Go with your skin tone! nude colors for your lips, and never ever match your eye color exactly to your dress.. you can do just a touch of blue if you want... heres a site that has great make up and hair tips / tutorials.. www.pursebuzz.com

Your dress sounds pretty, and congratulations on graduating!
To start, I think you should skip the glitter only because on your graduation day you want to look more polished. Instead, opt for a shimmery eyeshadow! I would use a shimmery neutral or silver shadow as a base and lightly smoke up the eye with a black or navy. Keep it simple - finish with black liner and mascara... for extra glamour you can add some individual fake lashes at the corrners of the eye. For cheeks, I'd choose a soft pink mixed with a glowy cream highlighter atop your cheekbones. And lips should also be kept simple with a creamy neutral pink gloss, or gloss and lipstick combination :) Hope this helps and have an amazing graduation!
