balm and gloss are usually rubbed off when you drink/eat something... color stays for longer time comparitively but pencil stays till you wash/wipe it off...

A long wearing lipstick (usually a two product system) or do the following steps.





1 - Dry lips off.


2 - add liner to the whole lip area


3 - brush with powder


4 - apply lipstick with a brush


5 - blot onto a kleenex


6 - apply lipstick again.





Gloss or balms are the least long wearing options out there.
I'm just going to say which ones I have come to find are the longest lasting:


1. lip liner/pencil - Estee Lauder lip liner works really well. I like ';Mocha'; the best. :)


2. color - I like Rimmel London lipstick. It doesn't dry out immediately like some lip colors.


3. gloss - L'oreal Color Juice lip gloss works really well, comes in a variety of colors, and it stays on for quite a long time.


4. balm - Burt's Bees lip balm is by far the best lip balm out there. It stays on for hours without overdrying your lips like some balms do.

I'm not a fan of long-lasting lip colors, they are normally pretty drying. However, I know there are several lipsticks now that are supposed to be very long-lasting -- most come with a color product, then a clear product you apply on top to set it.





However, I have discovered that a very thin layer of lipbalm (don't use too much!) makes my lipstick or lipgloss last much longer than without it! I always use Blistex balm .... With this trick, most of my lipsticks and glosses will last until my next meal, at least!





I've also heard that if you apply a lipliner all over your lips underneath your lipstick/gloss, that helps it last much longer too. I haven't tried it though ...

i found that the lipstick with lip liner nd a noncolor gloss last longer than nething nd ummm i really don't know what kind would really last longer but uaslly if you do that it will work all day and fade a lil after u eat
