Can I disguise a swollen lip with makeup?

One side of my lip is swollen. It has gone down but still not to my liking. I need to leave to San Francisco in a little while, and I feel vain for asking, but I honestly wouldn't have fun if I was thinking about if people were stareing at my lip. :/Can I disguise a swollen lip with makeup?
apply cover up on it AND powder. the coverup will conceal and the powder will take away that shiny look that fat lips sometimes have. AVOID LIPGLOSS. just wear like chapstick for awhile or really sheer lipsticks.

Actually yes you can... there's two makeup products you can get. The best concealer and product I recommend to any of my clients in your situation is to use Temptu Concealer Wheel found on http://www.temptu.com or on eBay.com. The coverage is phenomenal... apply it around your lip area and try to use a peach lip color like MAC Angel.





The second one I would recommend that you can get at Sephora is Make Up Forever... get the Concealer, foundation and finishing powder... apply it the same way as the concealer, then the foundation and then the finishing powder.





Any concealer would do but these are the best concealers I've used on my clients that had a black eye... or birth marks on their faces...





I would also recommending icing your swollen lip...

yes you can with special make up like americas next top model if you saw it, they have like cover girl cosmetics that can cover up any thing you dont like about your skin type.! I dont know the price though but I am sure that its at least between $ 4-9.
I would put liquid concealer on your lips then apply lipstick ( a lite color). It wont be as noticeable but most people will not be looking at you anyways.
You cannot disguise it I am sorry. Unless you are a magicican ora makeup artist i think your stuck with your new swollen lip friend for a while.
put liquid foundation over the lip then a little lip color (stick, gloss) whatever..
